Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal, Technical Marketing Engineer to lead the Technical Marketing Engineering Switching team and shape the future of self-driving networks. Hybrid role in Roseville, CA or San Jose, CA, with global GTM initiatives and collaboration across engineering, marketing and sales.

You will translate complex networking into compelling value propositions, drive product strategy influence, and mentor a high-caliber TME team to deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• Expert mastery of full-stack networking with resilient switching fabrics.
• Strong knowledge of AOS-CX, EX, and QFX platforms.
• Advanced MP-BGP EVPN‑VXLAN fabric architectures and protocols.
• Experience with NAC/802.1X, IPsec, NAT, and next-gen firewalls.
• Scripting in Python and YAML; automation with Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Lead global technical marketing strategies for self-driving networks.
• Synthesize complex concepts into messaging, demos and enablement content.
• Establish metrics, analyze data, and optimize marketing tactics.
• Partner with product management to align roadmaps with market needs.
• Scale the TME team and represent HPE at key industry events.
