Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Principal, Technical Marketing Engineer in California to lead the Technical Marketing Engineering team for self-driving networks, translating complex technologies into clear, compelling value propositions and collaborating with engineering, product management, marketing, and sales to shape differentiated messaging and GTM.

The role demands deep networking expertise, at least 12+ years in R&D/PLM/TME, and a proven ability to translate architectures

Qualifications

• Expert mastery of full-stack ecosystems powering modern enterprise networks.
• Experience with AOS-CX, EX, and QFX platforms is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MP-BGP EVPN‑VXLAN fabrics and all networking stack protocols.
• Experience with IPsec, NAT, and next-generation firewalls (IDS/IPS/DDoS).
• Hands-on telemetry protocols IPFIX, gNMI, and gRPC for visibility.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute global technical marketing strategies for self-driving networks.
• Synthesize complex concepts into compelling messaging, demos, and enablement content.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales to shape GTM strategies.
• Establish and analyze metrics to iterate on tactics and measure business impact.
• Scale and lead a Technical Marketing Engineering team with a focus on excellence.
