Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a principal Systems Security Engineer at our San Antonio site to lead Anti-Tamper and cybersecurity initiatives for sensor payloads and secure mission solutions. You will work with DoD security requirements and engage with government partners to ensure robust protection of assets and operations.

The role requires evaluating risk, applying cryptographic concepts, and guiding system security across hardware and software domains, with US citizenship and ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Anti-Tamper or Cybersecurity.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Experience with security requirements development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate full life cycle Systems Engineering in Anti-Tamper and Cybersecurity.
• Support hardware/software Anti-Tamper and cybersecurity techniques.
• Ensure compliance with US Government policies (JSIG, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253).
• Analyze and validate security requirements; develop additional safeguards.
• Coordinate security release efforts and training across teams.
