Job summary

Collins Aerospace, RTX company, is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for ground and airborne systems within the Mission Systems organization. You will oversee full lifecycle development from CONOPS to Validation and act as a Subject Matter Expert in your discipline. The role requires active SECRET clearance, U.S.

citizenship, and a STEM degree with 8+ years (or an advanced degree with 5+ years). This is an onsite Marlborough, MA position with collaboration across IPTs, hardware and software

Qualifications

• Strong integration and test experience with test procedure development, execution and reporting.
• Knowledge of or application of EVMS.
• Proficient in tooling including Microsoft products and tasking boards (Jira, IBM EWM).
• Active and transferable SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Typically requires STEM degree and minimum 8 years of experience or advanced degree with 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle development from CONOPS to Validation.
• Act as SME with advanced to expert knowledge in the discipline.
• Oversee lab activities: setup, configuration management and testing.
• Ensure modeling, hardware and software interfaces are scalable.
• Support integration of solutions within target environment.
• Coach and review work of junior professionals.
