Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Requirements and Verification Systems Engineer for on-site work in California (Rancho Bernardo, El Segundo or Palmdale). You will lead systems engineering tasks across IPTs, verify requirements, define interfaces, and support flight tests in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a STEM degree with varying years of experience and active Top Secret clearance, with SAP clearance possible. Travel is 10%.

Qualifications

• BSc in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• MS in STEM with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance (US Government).
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance in a reasonable time.
• Experience briefing technical presentations to stakeholders.
• Experience with DOORS and Atlassian Tool Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-IPT development of system and segment requirements and use cases.
• Implement verification methodology and traceability for requirements.
• Develop interface definitions and integration plans.
• Perform formal integration and test of software/hardware subsystems.
• Evaluate test anomalies and assist disposition and corrections.
• Perform requirements verification and selloff.
• Provide support to flight tests and fielded assets.
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with clear communication.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
