Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Sr Principal Systems to join our team in a role focused on developing and managing system requirements across the engineering lifecycle. The candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to craft architectures and models that translate customer needs into robust technical solutions.

The position requires proficiency in MBSE and requirements engineering, experience with Cameo or MagicDraw, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Requirements Engineering and MBSE.
• Experience with Cameo or MagicDraw.
• Ability to understand system interface documentation and military standards.
• Experience with Requirements Impact Assessments, Change Requests, and Engineering Change Proposals.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and manage systems requirements through the engineering lifecycle.
• Apply MBSE practices to develop and maintain system architectures and models.
• Perform functional analysis, requirements allocation, interface definition, and system-level trade studies.
• Translate customer and program requirements into system specifications and technical solutions.
• Support systems integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Coordinate with software, hardware, test, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor other systems engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Support IBCS and IAMD capabilities and related interfaces.
