Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Integrator to join our team in Clearfield, UT. This role supports the Remote Visual Assessment program within the SDS Division and requires coordinating with stakeholders to define architectures and ensure successful integration of complex systems.

The candidate will engage in system analyses, risk mitigation, and documentation while upholding government regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience; or a master's with 3+; or a PhD with 1.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance before start.
• Experience in technical problem solving including root cause analysis and solution deployment.
• Experience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement complex systems meeting government requirements.
• Define architectures and design concepts with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct analyses, studies, and risk assessments; maintain system docs and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards; guide junior engineers.
• Demonstrate strong systems engineering knowledge across software, cybersecurity, or networks.
