Northrop Grumman in Whidbey Island, Washington, is seeking a Systems Administrator (or Principal Systems Administrator) to join the Systems Engineering Organization for a classified government contract. The role is full-time and on-site with no remote work.

Responsibilities include Windows/VMware and Linux/Redhat administration, security compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates must have eligible Top Secret clearance with SCI, and be willing to travel up to 25% for

Competenze

• Must have Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of systems administration experience or advanced degree with related experience.
• Must have current CompTIA Security+ CE or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture.

Mansioni

• Perform Windows/VMware System Administrator tasks for a classified government contract.
• Perform Linux/Redhat System Administrator tasks for a classified government contract.
• Maintain multi-user systems and coordinate with network, software, and system engineers.
• Analyze requirements and determine equipment and software needs for solutions.
• Review enhancements, install/patch, monitor, resolve problems, and manage configuration.
• Provide backup/recovery; manage file systems and virus protection.
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
• Test new releases for compatibility and minimal user impact.
