Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in California seeks a senior engineer with deep expertise in power architectures, VR power products, and embedded SoCs to lead customer engagements and drive revenue.

You will collaborate with HW/FW/SW teams, develop persuasive proposals, and present executive summaries to Sr Leaders, shaping solutions for automotive, industrial and data center applications.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong understanding of power architecture and high-current ASICs.
• Experience with multiphase VRs and datacenter power products.
• Knowledge of magnetics, passive components, and power-device driver challenges.
• Experience with embedded SoCs and cross-functional HW/FW/SW teams.
• Excellent technical and executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with SIMPLIS modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer systems engineers to understand big-scope perspective on challenges and value drivers.
• Analyze various VR approaches to determine how theyfit in the big picture from acustomerspoint of view.
• Build critical collateral to evangelize proposals and support customer engagement.
• Prepare executive summary level material to drive high level discussions with Sr Leaders and key customers.
• Directly supporttop-tiercustomer engagements to gain consensus on proposals and help drive them to revenue.
• Maintain key customer relationships to enable early market visibility.
• Work with Renesas functional teams to find best path to customer delight.
• Support design, FW, and SW teams during executionwith clarification or necessary compromise.

Qualifications

• 15+years ofmulti-disciplinaryexperience in semiconductorindustry
• Understanding ofgeneral power architectureand product typesrelated to CPU’s and other high current ASIC’s
• Experience withmultiphase VR’sor other datacenter related power products
• Comprehension of topics including magnetics design, passive component selection, power device driver challenges, and real-world implementation challenges
• Experience with embedded SoC’s including cross-functional collaboration with HW/FW/SW teams
• Excellent technical and executive communication skills.
• Experiencewithhigh level modeling tools like SIMPLISis a plus

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $180,000-$225,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount will depend on the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, and skill set.
