This role is designed to support the launch and expansion of Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation System. The Principal Symplicity Spyral Territory Manager will be responsible for driving patient engagement and therapy adoption in high-potential markets.

Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation System is cutting-edge technology that will change the lives of patients with high blood pressure. This is a field-based role focused on therapy awareness, access, account activation, and collaboration with senior Territory Managers and supports the St.Louis market. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

Territory & Account Development
  • Drive patient referrals and therapy awareness in targeted geographies.
  • Develop deep relationships with high-prescribing hypertension physicians and community stakeholders.
  • Support territory activation by opening new accounts in partnership with existing sales teams.
Sales Execution
  • Promote and educate of the Symplicity therapy, acting as a therapy specialist and resource.
  • Execute focused outreach strategies in “hot” markets with high patient potential.
  • Collaborate with senior territory managers to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the territory.
Customer Engagement
  • Serve as a consistent touchpoint for physicians and staff, building trust and credibility.
  • Educate and equip providers with therapy benefits and pathways that improve patient outcomes.
  • Support contract signing and onboarding processes for new accounts.
Training & Development
  • Participate in comprehensive training programs to build clinical and sales competencies.
  • Operate flexibly in a dynamic, evolving environment with a “project mentality.”
Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, outreach efforts, and territory performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10+ years OR
  • Associate's Degree and 8+ years OR
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience selling B2B OR medical, with a proven track record in new product launches
  • Demonstrated success in sales hunting and developing new accounts, driving market penetration for innovative technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or Business preferred
  • Ability to teach, train, and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support teams on new devices and therapies
  • Consistent top-tier performance (Top 10%), including recognition such as President’s Club or equivalent awards
Physical Job Requirements
  • Frequent travel within assigned territory.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Sit/stand/walk for 6–8 hours per day.
  • Operate a moving vehicle with valid driver’s license and insurance.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$85,000 - $85,000

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
