Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC seeks a Principal Structural Engineer to lead structural design for mission‑critical data centers, emphasizing prefabricated and modular construction. You will guide standards, reviews, and decisions from concept through construction, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and PE license.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with modular or prefabricated construction.
• Knowledge of ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, IBC and related codes.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, RAM.
• Ability to lead complex decisions and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Principal-level expertise for structural design of foundations, framing, and floor systems.
• Establish design standards and guardrails across data center platforms and jurisdictions.
• Lead reviews of calculations, shop drawings, and submittals for prefabricated modules.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, civil, fabrication partners to integrate designs.
• Lead constructability and value-engineering reviews for modular sequencing and logistics.
• Travel for site visits, fabrication facilities, and commissioning.
