Vantage Data Centers Management Company LLC seeks a Principal Structural Engineer to lead structural design for data-center facilities, emphasizing prefabricated and modular methods. Remote-friendly within the US, with travel for site visits and fabrication facilities.

Requires PE license, 10+ years in structural engineering, and experience with foundations, framing, and seismic/wind design across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and PE license required.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience; data center exposure preferred.
• Hands-on with modular or prefabricated construction techniques.
• Experience in foundations, steel/concrete framing, floors, and equipment supports.
• Strong knowledge of ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, IBC and related codes.

Responsabilités

• Provide Principal-level technical leadership for data-center structural design.
• Set design standards and guardrails applicable across jurisdictions.
• Lead reviews of complex calculations, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, and fabricators for prefab workflows.
• Direct constructability and value-engineering discussions for modular projects.
• Mentor engineers and lead cross-functional design decisions.
• Perform site visits and fabrication facility tours.
