Job summary

The Hackett Group is seeking an accomplished Principal to lead practice engagements in Strategy & Operations. You will oversee client relationships, shape engagements, and drive revenue through high-impact consulting services across consumer, manufacturing and healthcare sectors.

You will travel to client locations up to five days per week, mentor staff, negotiate engagements, and contribute to firm growth with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes at top-tier firms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing client relationships and engagements at major consulting firms.
• Hold a Principal or Partner position with responsibilities for sales and delivery.
• Track record of add-on sales with existing clients.
• Be willing to travel to client locations up to five days/week.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and staff development abilities.
• MBA degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new practice work assignments and expand client relationships with C-level executives.
• Ensure teams deliver the highest quality for project work and client outcomes.
• Lead and mentor staff, guiding career development and skill enhancement.
• Negotiate and close engagements, contributing to revenue growth.
• Generate business development activities including speaking engagements and articles.
