Nike Energy is seeking a Principal strategist to partner with executive leadership to shape Nike's global long-term strategy across partnerships, collaborations, and new opportunities in art, fashion, luxury, streetwear, and more. You will lead cross-functional teams and author strategic plans that guide growth and value creation.

You will synthesize complex data into compelling narratives, develop future growth frameworks, and define workstreams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field.

• PhD or Law degree plus 6 years of experience (alternative).

• Understanding of competitive landscape and retail marketplace.

About the Role

This role is for a Principal strategist within Nike Energy, the team that sets the pace for partnerships, collaborations, and new opportunities for Nike, spanning art, fashion, luxury, streetwear, innovation, gaming and fandom, and new frontiers. The Principal works with executive leadership to develop and implement Nike Energy's global long‑term strategy, identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities, and catalyse action against those priorities through business planning processes. The role serves as a critical thought partner to senior and executive leaders on complex business issues, independently leads cross‑functional teams, and helps own the strategic planning process and the authoring of strategic plans.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Any suitable combination of education, experience and training will be accepted in place of the stated degree.
• PhD or Law degree plus 6 years of experience (accepted as an alternative).
• Master's degree plus 7 years of experience (accepted as an alternative).
• Associate's degree plus 9 years of experience (accepted as an alternative).
• High School qualification plus 10 years of experience (accepted as an alternative).

Preferred Skills

• MBA or a similar graduate degree.
• Strategy background including management consulting, venture capital, start‑ups or entrepreneurship, investment banking, or corporate strategy experience.
• Experience in apparel/footwear, retail, merchandising, digital/ecommerce and/or consumer‑facing industries.
• Proven understanding of the competitive landscape and the retail marketplace.
