The role collaborates with the IPT lead on reporting, metrics, and special projects, applying NG processes and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have leadership, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of program management across the lifecycle, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of related professional/military experience with a Bachelor’s degree in project management, program management, contracts, program operations, business management, or budgeting OR 4 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and ability to create, manage and manipulate these templates and reports.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar and IMF knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and acts as liaison between project management, planning, and line management.
  • Reviews project status, budgets, schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and clients.
  • Prepares status reports and presentations for internal and customer meetings.
  • Conducts risk and opportunity management including identification and mitigation.
