Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Clearfield, UT.

This position may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4 depending on qualification below

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 5 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Industrial, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 1 year of experience in mentioned fields.
2. Must be a US citizen.
3. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
4. Ability to obtain Special Program Access.

Sr. Principal Facilities Engineer Level 4:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 8 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Industrial, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 4 year of experience in mentioned fields.
2. Must be a US citizen.
3. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
4. Ability to obtain Special Program Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E
2. Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience.
3. Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems.
4. Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings.
5. Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
6. Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required.
7. Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9. Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
10. Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
11. Ability to design security systems to the ICD705 is preferred.

Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00 Salary Range 2: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
