Job summary

LTTS US Branch seeks a DSP engineer to lead architecture, implementation, and optimization of embedded DSP components across multiple platforms. You will translate research algorithms into scalable production code and define performance requirements with strong emphasis on real-time processing.

You will mentor DSP engineers across locations, resolve optimization and memory challenges, and collaborate with systems, firmware, hardware, QA, and algorithm teams to drive end-to-end production

Qualifications

• Experience in DSP architecture and embedded C/C++ development.
• Strong knowledge of real-time operating systems and low-latency DSP processing.
• Ability to mentor and lead DSP engineers across locations.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Key responsibilities:

• Lead DSP architecture, implementation, integration, and optimization activities across multiple product
  platforms.
• Translate research algorithms and reference implementations into scalable production DSP
  components.
• Define implementation approaches, interfaces, performance requirements, and validation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DSP engineers working across multiple locations.
• Resolve complex performance, memory, numerical precision, and real-time processing issues.
• Review DSP designs and implementations for architecture, quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize production-quality C/C++ implementations for embedded DSP targets.
• Guide fixed-point and floating-point implementation decisions.
• Optimize implementations for DSP and vector architectures such as Tensilica HiFi, ARM Neon/Helium,
  RISC-V vector extensions, and x64 SIMD.
• Partner with systems, firmware, hardware, QA, and algorithm teams to drive integration through
  production.
• Establish strong engineering practices for testing, profiling, validation, code review, and
  documentation.
• Lead hands-on hardware bring-up, lab debugging, profiling, and performance characterization on
  reference and product hardware.
• Work directly with onsite engineering teams to rapidly resolve integration issues and make technical
  trade-off decisions.
