L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS) is seeking an experienced BSP Software Engineer to join our Oregon team. The role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining QNX and Linux platform software from bootloader through OS and drivers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, and hands-on QNX and Linux kernel experience. Collaboration with hardware and validation teams is essential in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Embedded Software Development experience.
• Strong programming in Embedded C/C++.
• Hands-on with QNX RTOS/QNX SDP and Linux kernel development.
• Strong Linux device driver development expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, debug, and maintain QNX and Linux platform software.
• Develop high-quality embedded software based on requirements.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Linux kernel components and device drivers.
• Perform BSP development, board bring-up, platform enablement, and hardware integration.
• Work on bootloader integration, startup sequences, and OS bring-up.

We are seeking an experienced BSP (Kernel / QNX) Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation Embedded and In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, debugging, and maintaining QNX and Linux platform software, enabling system functionality from bootloader through operating system and device driver layers.

The engineer will work closely with hardware, Android, platform software, system integration, and validation teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and scalable embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, debug, and maintain QNX and Linux platform software.
• Develop high-quality embedded software based on functional and system requirements.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Linux kernel components and device drivers.
• Perform BSP development, board bring-up, platform enablement, and hardware integration activities.
• Work on bootloader integration, startup sequences, and operating system bring-up.
• Optimize system performance, memory utilization, stability, and reliability.
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance test plans.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues across multiple platform layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and release activities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and test automation initiatives.
• Develop technical documentation and support product lifecycle activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development.
• Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with QNX RTOS/QNX SDP.
• Experience in Linux Kernel Development.
• Strong expertise in Linux Device Driver Development.
• Experience with BSP Development and Board Bring-up activities.
• Knowledge of QNX Platform Development.
• Experience with QNX Hypervisor and virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of boot processes, system initialization, and OS bring-up.
• Experience with Python scripting and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces including:
• Ethernet
• USB
• UART
• SPI
• I2C
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, or In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems.
• Experience integrating Android-based platforms with embedded operating systems.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and memory optimization techniques.
• Exposure to automated testing and continuous integration environments.
