Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks an experienced Principal/Sr Principal Cloud Engineer to advance our automated deployment and monitoring frameworks. You will implement robust CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure provisioning, and collaborate with Agile teams across multiple locations in the US.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI access and hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Linux systems. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance (and SCI access)
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or 9 years of equivalent experience
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Linux/Unix administration experience
• Experience in Agile software development
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tooling

Responsibilities

• Plan and evolve processes and infrastructure for rapid capability maturation and deployment
• Integrate development pipelines with automated testing and CI/CD frameworks
• Define build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards
• Maintain SCM, code quality, and test coverage across pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to automate CI/CD and infrastructure management
• Configure delivery environments for CD/CI tools in Agile sprints
• Create scripts/templates to automate provisioning and management tasks
• Monitor and support installed systems and infrastructure
• Develop scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual tasks
