Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly capable finance professional to support MRAD product cost management for the NASAMS program. You will manage EVMS, forecast costs, and provide financial insights to program leaders across CAMs and IPTs.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a finance or related degree, and experience with SAP and MS Office in a government contracting environment. Hybrid work is available, with location in Andover, MA or nearby.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ with advanced degree).
  • Experience with SAP or a cost accounting system; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Provide monthly variance analyses and cost data.
  • Develop quarterly EAC/LRE estimates and funding plans.
  • Maintain program logs and provide financial guidance to PMs, IPT leads, and CAMs.
  • Deliver cost, schedule, financial reporting and forecasting using standard tools.

The Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) team is seeking a highly motivated finance professional (P3) to join the MRAD Product Area as a Belgium NASAMS Financial analyst. The flagship product within the MRAD portfolio is the Sentinel system that in built in partnership with Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace (KDA). The successful candidate will collaborate with key leaders within the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain and IPT Leads providing the team with financial management, insight and solutions to better drive the program needs. In the role, the selected individual will support the management of cost control, EVMS compliance, financial forecasting, and overall financial execution of the program. The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of tasks and work with all levels of the organization. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management as well as execute hands on with the finance team. This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite & remote) with the preferred candidate located within a commutable distance to Andover, MA. Other locations considered are: McKinney, TX; Huntsville, AL; or Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is not being offered.

What You Will Do

  • Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management
  • Provide monthly variance and data analysis
  • Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development
  • Establish and maintain program logs (MR,UB, BCRs, etc.)
  • Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance and reporting utilizing standard company tools and processes
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field & a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with SAP or a similar cost accounting system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with program controls, program scheduling, cash management, and financial planning and reporting
  • Experience working in a government contracting environment with knowledge of contracts governed by both FAR and DFARS

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
