Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior financial analyst to lead a team of analysts, oversee earned value and program performance, and drive accurate forecasts and budgets. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and experience with SAP and APEX within a defense contracting environment.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the Program Management Office and senior leadership, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering timely financial insights for EACs, forecasts and LRPs.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Experience using SAP and/or APEX and/or similar financial system.
  • Experience with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of financial analysts by providing support, mentorship and training.
  • Management of earned value, analysis of program performance ensuring compliance with internal EVM policy and 10255.
  • Quarterly development of Estimate at Completion (EACs).
  • Interfacing with Program Management Office and the Integrated Product Leadership Team, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Support the development of product group level inputs and updates to Monthly Forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) objectives.
  • Meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Use strong analytical abilities to understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions.
  • Prepare finance charts for Program Business Reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.
  • Participation in key leadership strategy reviews.
  • Support proposal development, submittal, negotiations and program start up activities.

What You Will Do

Lead and manage a team of financial analysts by providing support, mentorship and training.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and/or other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals.

Knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.

Knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
