What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Ensure compliance with U.S. export and import regulations, including EAR, ITAR, and HTS
• Perform jurisdiction classification (JC) and Harmonized System (HS) classifications
• Support investigations and reviews of potential Global Trade (GT) escapes and disclosures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results and implement compliance policies
• Lead project management and continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Experience with U.S. Export (classification) Regulations, specifically EAR and ITAR
• Strong technical or engineering background
• Familiarity with the Commerce Control List (CCL) and the United States Munitions List (USML)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Prior experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or CORE methodologies
• BS/MS in Engineering or Business Administration
• Experience with classifications under the World Customs Organization (WCO) HTS
• 1 to 2 years working with Global Trade and related export/HTS classification matters
• Familiarity with Collins/RTX trade compliance processes and systems
