Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal or Sr Principal Systems Engineer in the Eastern Region to join the ER-SEIT team. You will support concept and product development across the full space design lifecycle, from sensors to payloads to on-orbit operations, with on-site responsibilities and a focus on mission engineering, requirements, and architecture.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligibility) and experience in systems engineering, requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in STEM with 5 years relevant experience; 3 years with MS; or PhD with 0 years.
• Sr Principal: 8 years relevant experience; 6 years with MS; or PhD with 3 years experience.
• Must have active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access.
• Systems engineering experience including requirements, mission engineering, architecture, modeling & simulation, integration & test, verification & validation.

• Architecture and CONOPs development.
• Systems modeling and simulation.
• Functional analysis and timeline analysis.
• Trade studies and technical planning.

• Experience with DOORS, STK, Cameo, Rhapsody, MATLAB, Python.
