Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Product Solutions Engineer - Fuel Engineering Technology to bridge engineering, customers, and commercial teams. The role supports portfolio strategy, product commercialization, and market growth while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The position reports to the Solutions Manager, Fuel Engineering Technology and is remote, with the Westinghouse base in Cranberry Township, PA.

About the role:

As a Principal Product Solutions Engineer - Fuel Engineering Technology you will serve as the bridge between engineering, customers, and commercial organizations within Fuel Engineering Technology. You will combine technical understanding, customer engagement, product strategy, offer development, and business planning to support the growth and execution of the Fuel Hardware and Engineering Solutions portfolio.

You will report to the Solutions Manager, Fuel Engineering Technology and work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the generation and implementation of the Fuel Engineering Technology (FET) product portfolio strategy, translating business objectives into the Fuel Hardware and Engineering Solutions portfolio plan.
• Establish a technical understanding of Fuel Engineering products, services, and digital solutions while managing product-related databases and portfolio information.
• Forecast revenue and resource demand, identify risks and opportunities, and support actions to improve profitability and execution outcomes.
• Identify unmet customer needs and develop strategic solutions that create customer value and satisfy industry requirements.
• Work with internal organizations, Fuel Business Managers, and customers to grow the Fuel Engineering Technology business and expand market opportunities.
• Support product technology commercialization efforts, and digital product deployments by connecting customer needs with engineering execution.
• Develop business cases and recommendations to support product innovation, digital transformation initiatives, and portfolio growth.
• Lead customer offer development from opportunity identification through contract execution, ensuring technical scope, deliverables, and commercial terms align with product strategy and business objectives.
• Support customer relationships and product commitments, including contract renewals, maintenance agreements, entitlement management, and implementation planning activities.
• Support assessment of financial variance reports and engage with operations teams to understand performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Lead Fuel Engineering Technology customer engagement and marketing initiatives, including ownership of TechWeek strategy, sponsorship, customer outreach, content development, and overall event success, while coordinating planning, logistics, attendee engagement, and post-event business development follow-up.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree Nuclear Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Six or more years technical or customer-oriented experience.
• Expertise in translating abstract concepts and complex information into meaningful insights, and to organize, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources and reporting formats.

Beneficial:

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
