Westinghouse Electric Company, based in Cranberry Township, PA, seeks a Fuel Solutions Manager to drive product planning and lifecycle execution for the Nuclear Fuel Engineering Solutions. You will partner with Product Management, manufacturing, commercial teams and marketing to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

The role reports to the Director of Fuel Hardware & Engineering Solutions and carries responsibility for P&L with the Fuel Engineering Solutions product line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of strong and proven technical leadership progression in the nuclear industry.
• Knowledge with Nuclear Fuel technology software products.
• Excellent team building skills with ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Assess and analyze the market for the product offerings.
• Define, validate, and implement business cases aligned to Product Strategy to grow market share by delivering customer value.

• Provide accountability and leadership for select Nuclear Fuels project as Project Sponsor.
• Inform product roadmaps by providing voice of the Customer regarding timing and pricing.

About the role:

As a Fuel Solutions Manager you will be responsible and accountable for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and market intelligence, working with Product Management in defining the product strategy, and working closely with manufacturing, D&I, commercial teams and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the Profit & Loss for the Fuel Engineering Solution product line. The Solutions Manager must also ensure that the product strategy supports Westinghouse's overall strategy and goals.

You will report to the Director of Fuel Hardware & Engineering Solutions. No relocation provided for the position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor segment-specific market trends, customer buying patterns and competitors to feed product marketing plan and support capture teams.
• Assess and analyze the market for the product offerings.
• Define, validate, and implement business cases aligned to Product Strategy to grow WEC market share by delivering customer value in the specific segment. Close the loop on Business Cases with Product Management to validate actuals.
• Articulate and implement Value Selling Proposition.
• Provide accountability and leadership for select Nuclear Fuels project by being a Project Sponsor.
• Inform product roadmaps by providing voice of the Customer regarding timing and pricing, participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) gate reviews, ensure time to market supports industry feedback. Responsible for market and commercial aspects of new product development.
• Define, drive and monitor product life cycle and lead product evolution from concept to retirement to maximize value with tie to technology roadmaps and other product strategies.
• Collaborate across the organizations to align and lead the product strategies.
• Collaborate with appropriate colleagues within Americas Business Management and Global Marketing Teams (including Commercial Integration) and the external Customer to lead business opportunities and decisions.
• Attend Capture Strategy Meetings in Nuclear Fuel for Opportunities.
• Manage Fuel Engineering Services financials and provide input to annual business planning and monthly forecast.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline required.
• Minimum 10 years of strong and proven technical leadership progression in the nuclear industry required.
• Knowledge with Nuclear Fuel technology software products.
• Excellent team building skills with ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance
