Job summary

AEP in Ohio is seeking an experienced software engineer to join a team delivering high quality technology solutions. Design, develop and install advanced software, conforming to internal standards and best practices across the full software lifecycle.

You will diagnose production incidents, create documentation, support business analysts, and collaborate with IT and business teams. Requires 7+ years of enterprise app development with C#, .NET, SQL, HTML/JS, React and OpenShift; knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
7 years relevant work experience required.
Experience with .NET Framework and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core (including .NET 8/9/10).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Technology Project Managers, Architects and Stakeholders across the software lifecycle.
Diagnose complex production incidents and implement corrective solutions within SLAs.
Produce and maintain technical documentation including architecture and interfaces.
Support Business Analysts with System Test cases and validation.
Build relationships across IT and Business teams to achieve complex goals.
