Job summary

Atlassian seeks a skilled Solutions Architect to drive post-sales technical implementation for its DX platform with Enterprise customers in the United States. You will own architecture, integration design, and customer success collaboration to ensure maximum value and adoption of our solutions.

You will lead deep-dive sessions, propose tailored technical solutions, and advise on best practices for deployment, analytics, and transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ruby/Rails or Python and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git and GitHub CLI.
• Familiarity with SQL (Postgres preferred) and data analytics.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Implementation: Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to drive all technical aspects of the post-sales lifecycle.
• Architecture and Strategy: Lead technical deep-dive sessions mapping the DX platform into client workflows and structures.
• Custom Solution Engineering: Design and build tailored integrations connecting the DX APIs with complex client environments.
• Consultative Implementation: Ask detailed questions to understand engineering processes, branching strategies, and deployment pipelines.

DX'sSolutions Engineering Team at Atlassian is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Solutions Architect to be a key driver in the successful adoption and long-term growth of the DX product (getdx.com). You will serve as the technical authority for our customers after the sale, dedicated to solving our Enterprise customers' most complex implementation challenges and ensuring they realize maximum value from our solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Implementation: Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to drive and lead all technical aspects of the post-sales lifecycle, including onboarding, complex integrations, and system architecture, ensuring a seamless transition from evaluation to production.

• Architecture and Strategy: Lead technical deep-dive sessions to understand a customer’s long-term engineering goals, mapping the DX platform into their existing workflows and organizational structures.

• Custom Solution Engineering: Design and build tailored technical solutions—often creating integrations or workflows that don't yet exist—to connect the DX APIs with complex client environments and satisfy unique business requirements.

• Consultative Implementation: Ask thoughtful, detailed questions to navigate the nuances of a customer’s engineering processes, branching strategies, and deployment pipelines to ensure the platform is configured for optimal performance.

• Trusted Advisory: Act as the technical "North Star" for Enterprise clients, providing strategic guidance on best practices for developer experience (DX) analytics, deployment methodologies, and cultural transformation.

• Feedback Loop: Capture and synthesize technical feedback and friction points from active customers to collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering teams, directly informing the product roadmap and feature enhancements.

Pay Ranges

In The United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $207,000 - $270,250

Zone B: $186,300 - $243,225

Zone C: $171,810 - $224,308

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Exposure to programming (Ruby/Rails or Python) with a solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services.

• Experience with version control systems like Git and the GitHub CLI.

• Familiarity with SQL (Postgres preferred) and the ability to leverage data for analytical solutioning.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.

Consultative Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with extensive experience leading high-stakes technical workshops and executive-level discussions.

• Ability to translate complex technical architecture into clear business outcomes and value.

• Strong organizational skills to manage the technical delivery and resource requirements across multiple Enterprise implementations simultaneously.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.

In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: USD 207000 - USD 270250

Zone B: USD 186300 - USD 243225

Zone C: USD 171810 - USD 224308

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
