Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a Principal Solution Consultant to work with sales teams to lead consultative discovery sessions, craft visionary solutions, and design strategies tailored to customer needs. Your deep knowledge of Metals & Mining, Specialty Chemicals, and Pulp & Paper, together with AspenTech's broad portfolio, will drive value for customers and the company.

Qualifications

Experience as a consultant, pre-sales or professional services consultant in metals, mining, specialty chemicals, or pulp & paper selling software solutions.
Engineering degree preferred and strong industry knowledge.
Ability to bridge technology and business with high-level technical solutions and measurable value.

Responsibilities

Lead consultative discovery sessions with customers and craft visionary solutions.
Design strategies tailored to customer needs and position AspenTech solutions effectively.
Accompany the Sales Team to meet with customers and articulate the broader vision for AspenTech in target industries.
Train and educate Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on engaging Metals & Mining, Specialty Chemicals, and Pulp & Paper customers.
