What will you do?

You will be the strategic technical leader for Amazon Shipping's largest enterprise customer engagements, owning the technical relationship end to end from pre‑sales through delivery. Starting at the first conversation, you lead technical discovery and define the target architecture for how the customer integrates with Amazon Shipping. Enterprise customers run many systems—TMS, WMS, ERP, order management, and homegrown platforms—often with their own undefined priorities. You align these on a single, well‑defined integration architecture, resolve the hardest design questions, and stay hands‑on to ensure what gets built is scalable, secure, and performant. As a Principal, you operate at the strategic level, advising senior and executive stakeholders, shaping their broader integration strategy, and acting as their trusted technical advisor through the lifecycle. You drive clarity where the business objective and the strategy are not yet defined, turning each engagement into lasting capability through reference architectures, integration patterns, and governance that others reuse. You feed what you learn in the field back into Amazon Shipping's API roadmap and platform direction, and you represent Amazon Shipping as a technical thought leader in customer and industry forums.

You will collaborate closely with:

• Enterprise customers as the lead technical owner and strategic advisor, from pre‑sales to delivery
• Customer senior and executive stakeholders, aligning them on architecture and approach
• Commercial and Sales teams to shape and win strategic technical engagements
• Product and Engineering teams, feeding field insight into the API roadmap and platform
• The customer's system integrators and ISVs when an engagement requires it
