Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Solution Architect & Innovation Lead in Gaithersburg, MD or Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on architecting end-to-end space and geospatial intelligence systems, leading high-impact proposals, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams through complex challenges.

You will drive technical strategy, engage senior customers, and deliver innovative solutions across cloud, AI, and edge compute while maintaining a strong focus on mission success and program health.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field with relevant experience.
• MS or PhD with advanced experience preferred; seniority reflected in years.
• Proven leadership in federal acquisitions and large-scale programs.

Responsibilities

• Technical Strategy & Innovation: architect next-gen system solutions.
• Proposal & Business Development leadership for high-priority efforts.
• Program Execution & Recovery for challenged programs.
• Architect end-to-end solutions integrating AI/edge compute.
• Engage with senior government customers to translate needs into roadmaps.
