The Medtronic Cardiac Rhythm Management group seeks a Principal Product Owner to join our Software Operations Organization. The role involves defining priorities for evolving our Shared Services platform as a product by balancing inputs from stakeholders.

The Product Owner will act as the technical liaison between the platform team and platform users, including software developers, operations teams, and other business customers. This role is responsible for understanding and interpreting the 'What' and the 'Why' to maximize platform value for the business and customers.

This position is based in Mounds View, MN, within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) unit, requiring on-site presence at least three days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Support 2-3 scrum teams focused on a shared capability
• Build and groom product backlog, including writing epics, features, and stories
• Develop acceptance criteria for user stories
• Work closely with development teams and leaders to ensure clarity of priorities and alignment
• Partner with architects, DevOps engineers, technical owners, leads, developers, and testers
• Act as a change agent within the organization
• Coordinate with related product owners for cohesive customer experience
• Communicate platform releases and updates effectively to stakeholders
• Be accountable for the product’s impact on users and the organization
• Establish and monitor KPIs, SLOs, and SLAs
• Decide when enough value has been delivered to close work items

Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years relevant experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree

Nice to Have:

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• Experience with BDD, C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, AWS, Azure, REST APIs, AI/ML
