Principal Software Product Owner - CRM (Finance)

A Day in the Life

The Principal Software Product Owner will work within the Cardiac Rhythm Management group, focusing on defining priorities for evolving our Shared Services platform as a product. This involves balancing inputs from internal and external stakeholders and acting as the technical liaison between the platform team and its users, including software developers, operations teams, and other business customers.

This role is responsible for understanding and interpreting the "What" and the "Why" of work at the team level to maximize platform value. It requires on-site presence at least three days a week in Mounds View, MN.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Supporting 2-3 scrum teams focused on a common capability.
2. Building and grooming product backlogs, including writing epics, features, and stories.
3. Collaborating closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure clarity of priorities and alignment.
4. Partnering with architects, DevOps engineers, technical leads, and other roles to evolve the product.
5. Acting as a change agent within the organization.
6. Ensuring effective communication of platform releases and updates.
7. Establishing KPIs, SLOs, and SLAs for the platform.
8. Deciding when work items have delivered enough value to be closed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, or 5 years with an advanced degree.

Nice to Have:

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
• Experience with Behavior-driven development (BDD).
• Skills in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, AWS, Azure, Rest APIs, data services, AI/ML.
