Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Woodland Hills, CA, to design and deliver secure software for national defense programs.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, applying DevSecOps and Agile practices to build scalable, reliable systems that meet stringent government requirements. Qualified candidates hold a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, a Top Secret clearance, and are able to work onsite full-time in California.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relative experience in software engineering.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite full-time in CA.
• Experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JSP, Web development, test automation, data storage tech.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
• Develop software to modernize and productionize tools for US Government requirements.
• Create modular, scalable, reliable software architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on data processing systems.
• Develop CI/CD infrastructure and MLOps capabilities.
• Support on-site installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
