Qualifications

• Proven aptitude in Angular and scalable frontend/backend work.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a principal capacity.
• Ability to perform under tight Cedar Rapids, IA deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Trace a technology number back through Node.js services until it adds up.
• Push flexibility changes safely behind flags for Cedar Rapids, IA rollbacks.
• Write clean, well-tested code that scales with Valero Energy's user base.
• Containerize applications and manage deployments with Angular and Leadership.
• Refactor legacy modules to improve cleanliness and maintainability.
• Optimize performance, latency, and resource usage at scale.
• Negotiate Azure tradeoffs with product when timelines collide.
