Job summary

Monarch Quantum is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the architecture of fleet management, MES, and robotics data systems. You will design and implement C++ and Python software for station monitoring, configuration management, and telemetry, while guiding a growing team and ensuring robust testing and documentation.

The role demands 8+ years in software engineering, strong leadership, and experience with robotics or automated hardware environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership on complex systems.
• Startup/fast-paced tech environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of fleet management, data management, and MES software.
• Design and build C++ and Python software for monitoring, configuration, telemetry, and results tracking.
• Mentor engineers and enforce coding practices, reviews and documentation.
