Job Description

As a Solutions Architect at Runway youll be a critical member of the sales organization partnering closely with Account Executives to win deals and drive revenue. Youll act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle : demoing the platform supporting discovery demonstrating the value of Runway and helping prospects visualize how our platform solves their most complex FP&A challenges.

What Youll Do

This is a pre-sales-focused role with 30% of capacity dedicated to hands-on customer implementation. You will :

Partner directly with sellers to run tailored product demos effectively frame the impact of Runway to a variety of personas and company stages build trust with with senior finance leaders and address technical questions throughout the sales process.

Expand the use cases of Runway : By working with prospects and customers on the front line you will explore design and implement new use cases that demonstrate the flexibility and value of Runway.

Bridge the gap between sales and product serving as a key conduit for product feedback relaying high-impact customer needs and influencing roadmap prioritization.

Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to shape talk tracks refine positioning and develop messaging that resonates with finance teams.

Document customer needs and use cases to inform ongoing GTM strategies.

Support onboarding and technical enablement post-sale ensuring a seamless handoff and ongoing customer success.

Provide integration support alongside CX for new and existing customers

Wed love to hear from you if you have

5 years of experience in a pre-sales solutions architecture sales engineering or technical consulting roleideally within SaaS

Experience selling at a tech company in the

A strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and ability to support complex deal execution

Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical value into business impact

A builders mindset you love turning feedback into action creating repeatable assets and iterating quickly

Proven ability to collaborate across functions from sales and product to marketing and customer success

Excellent SQL proficiency and strong familiarity with data pipelines (i.e. Fivetran Merge Workato)

Empathy low ego and a bias for action

The base salary range for this full-time position is $165000-$200000 generous early employee equity benefits. The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position. Within the range individual pay is determined by various factors including job-related skills (as uncovered during the interview process) experience and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only and do not include equity benefits or potential performance related bonuses.
