Job summary

GovSG is seeking a proven Principal Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL to join our team supporting the Missile Defense Agency Next Generation Software Office. You will accelerate and modernize development, integration, and delivery of resilient, secure missile defense software on-site.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s in a STEM field with 12+ years in DoD programs, strong cloud and containerization skills, and the ability to lead teams within a secure DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM with 12+ years on missile defense or large DoD programs.
• Experience designing software libraries and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience in hardware-in-the-loop and cloud-based testing for software development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis to develop on-demand and cloud-based software for large DoD systems.
• Lead and collaborate on system integration and testing for model-based and cloud-native platforms.
• Manage and review APIs and interface control documents for cloud-based and HWIL environments.
