The role emphasizes leadership of multiple software development teams, design and code of new features, and integration of systems for DoD/IC programs. Required is a Bachelor’s degree with extensive software engineering experience, plus proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, MongoDB, AWS, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; 12 years of software engineering experience required, or 4 years additional substituted for degree.
• Experience with 3–4 of the following: Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Rancher RKE2, Kalka, AWS, RHEL, LLMs, Elasticsearch, Nifi.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process
• Design or implement complex algorithms requiring timing, resources, or interfaces constraints
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specs are met
