Job summary

You will drive secure, scalable engineering across data pipelines and AI-enabled workflows. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong coding skills in Python/Java, and expertise in AI/ML systems, cloud, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts plus 7+ years of applied experience.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability at enterprise scale.
• Experience designing and deploying production AI/ML systems, including LLM-based apps and agentic architectures in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable engineering frameworks and solutions using modern software design principles.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code for data-intensive applications and platforms; mentor other engineers.
• Create durable, reusable software frameworks and patterns used across teams and functions.
• Design and govern agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, tool-use integrations, and human-in-the-loop controls for regulated financial services environments.
• Establish engineering standards for LLM-based applications with RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, and model serving; ensure safety and observability at scale.
• Drive adoption of advanced technical practices aligned with industry standards and product development methodologies.
• Serve as a go-to SME in data engineering, platform architecture, or AI systems; advise cross-functional teams.
• Influence senior leaders on technical strategy and safe scaling patterns for AI-enabled development.
