Job summary

Power3 Solutions seeks a Principal Software Developer (Java, JavaScript, Docker) to work in the Ft. Meade, MD vicinity. The role requires TS/SCI with a Polygraph and involves designing, coding, testing, and documenting advanced software for government systems.

You will use OO techniques, XML/XSD, and middleware, with Linux/UNIX proficiency and leadership responsibilities across project teams. Central MD client needs may shift location.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
• 15 years of software design and development experience.
• 12 years leading teams for collection systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document software for government systems and platforms.
• Advise hardware engineers on system characteristics affecting software performance.
• Implement and maintain software using OO design, XML/XSD, and various tooling.
• Develop requirements into executable software specifications and test plans.
• Lead projects and coordinate with engineers and technical staff across teams.
