Capsa Healthcare is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, Full Stack, to serve as the technical authority behind our next-generation pharmacy software. You will influence architecture across cloud-native microservices, event-driven systems, and customer-facing applications.

This remote role requires 20% travel and reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture. You will lead design decisions, advocate best practices, and mentor a high-performing engineering team to deliver scalable

• 12+ years software engineering experience.
• 5+ years building distributed, real-time, or high-throughput systems.
• Master's degree is a plus.

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer, Full Stack to be the technical authority behind Capsa’s next-generation pharmacy software, influencing architecture across cloud-native microservices, event-driven systems, and customer facing applications.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture and is a REMOTE role requiring 20% travel.

As the Principal Software Engineer, you will need experience with the following:

Advanced .NET, C#, and Microservices Architecture

• Expert-level proficiency in .NET and C#, modern asynchronous programming, and designing, scaling, and troubleshooting production microservices with proven success in low-latency, high-throughput concurrent processing environments.

Event-Driven Systems and Messaging

• Strong production experience with Kafka (or similar event-streaming platforms), MassTransit, sagas/state machines, and deep understanding of messaging patterns including delivery guarantees, ordering, idempotency, deduplication, backpressure, transactional outbox, and dead-letter handling.

Modern Frontend Development

• Extensive hands-on experience with React.js, React Native, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Redux-Saga, REST API integration, responsive UI development, testing (Jest/React Testing Library), and browser-based performance and debugging tools.

Cloud-Native SaaS and Engineering Leadership

• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms using AWS, Kubernetes, containerization, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, OpenTelemetry, security best practices (including HIPAA considerations), and the ability to effectively leverage AI coding tools while communicating technical trade-offs to business and executive stakeholders.
