iManage is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to own and drive complex initiatives across the full SDLC, partnering with product and design teams to shape what and how we build. You will mentor engineers, contribute to architectural direction, and help scale a cloud-native platform used by knowledge workers globally.

The role favors a hands-on leader who embraces AI-assisted coding, with in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays as part of a hybrid policy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Java, microservices, and event-driven architectures in production systems.
• Cloud-native design experience at scale, with Azure as a plus.
• Ability to reason about architectural patterns and communicate their benefits clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own technical initiatives end to end from problem definition to delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and research to shape solutions.
• Mentor engineers and establish patterns that enable larger ambitious work.
