Apogee Research is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Arlington, VA to lead the creation of capabilities for national security. You will design and develop software from C++ to DSLs, mentor teammates, and demonstrate solutions in labs and events.

Extensive experience building robust software to solve complex problems.
High proficiency in C++ and strong security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Hands-on design and development of algorithmically complex software across C++ and DSLs.
Address customer needs and enable operational capabilities.
Demonstrate and test software in labs and at events.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and test suites.
Learn new technologies and propose innovative approaches as needed.
