This is the PERFECT position for a Principal level Software Engineer with a strong background in embedded Software Engineering, has a passion for DevSecOps, and wants to work on pipeline building, process automation, and data analytics.

This person will serve as the focal subject matter expert in all aspects of our common DevSecOps solutions for our embedded Software Engineering users, as well has help lead pipeline technical development.

• You will lead the design and implementation of new capabilities for our DSO pipelines / automations.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience with the following programming languages: C, C++, Python
• Experience with C/C++ build tooling and optimization: GNU Compiler Collection (gcc/g++), Clang/LLVM compiler, Make, CMake, Conan, Bazel
• Experience with Source Control Management: GitHub or GitLab, Git

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Rust, Ada, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• Experience with Ada build tooling and optimization.
• Experience with Rust build tooling and optimization.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
