Collins Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineer to advance their Cert DevOps pipelines and software lifecycle integrations. You will collaborate across teams to deploy new capabilities and optimize existing automation, while staying aligned with program goals and certifications.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience through all software lifecycle phases, including certification.
• Experience with DevSecOps.
• Proficient with GitLab, Git, and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with scripting languages: Python, Robot, Lava.
• Experience with SW Harness Testing and Adaption tools (PySMART, Rapitest, etc.).
• Experience with AI technology for automation enhancements.
• Excellent technical writing for solution adopters.

What You Will Do

• You will be part of the implementation of new capabilities for our SW Cert DevOps and Common Test pipelines.
• You will optimize existing Software Solution capabilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience in all aspects/phases the software engineering product lifecycle to include all phases of certification.
• Experience with DevSecOps.
• Experience with: GitLab, Git, CMake, MinGW, LynxOS, Coverity, Artifactory, Docker, Vista.
• Experience with scripting languages: Python, Robot, Lava.
• Experience with SW Harness Testing and Adaption (PySMART, Rapitest, Etc..).
• Experience with AI technology for automation enhancements.
• Experience in detailed technical writing for solution adopters.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. Regardless of your role type, collaboration and innovation are critical to our business and all employees will have access to digital tools so they can work with colleagues around the world - and access to Collins sites when their work requires in-person meetings.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
