The Digital Engineering Methods, Process & Adoption Software Solution team is on a mission to drive digital transformation to Collins Aerospace. This is the PERFECT position for a Principal level Software Engineer with a strong background in DevSecOps, AI, Technical Communication, and Training Facilitator to help bring those two together as part of our digital technology transformation. Someone who can serve as the focal subject matter expert in all aspects related to Software Solution Deployment, Adoption, and Training. This is an onsite position based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

What You Will Do
  • You will lead the design and implementation solution deployment training documentation.
  • You will lead the facilitation of solution training events for various adoption participants.
  • You will set-up and own sandbox environments for technology incubation and development. Leveraging AI in the improvement and innovation of our deployment activities (user guide, training, metrics, feedback, triage support, etc...)
  • You will work across teams and departments to enable rapid onboarding of the Cert DevOps technology.
  • You will mentor, train and onboard teammates.
  • You will be expected to be a self-starter, able to multitask and manage unplanned events.
  • You will use your organizational skills to keep track of everything.
  • You will use your effective communication skills to keep engineering peers, leadership and customers up to date.
  • You will use your problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills to support the team mission.
Qualifications You Must Have

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
