Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain robust systems, software, and cloud environments. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle within a DevOps framework, delivering customer tools and applications and supporting automated deployment processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java, SpringBoot, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and modern DevOps tools. Collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters is essential to align with customer use

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with Java, Spring, and software development lifecycle in a DevOps environment.
Experience with commercial cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud data services.

Responsibilities

Participates in and/or directs software programming initiatives using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
Develops software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon and uses integrated solutions to automate deployment technologies.
Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging infrastructure platform services.
Coordinate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and customer use cases.
Support the Agile software development lifecycle following SAFe practices using GitHub, Jenkins, Unix Bash scripting and JIRA/Confluence.
