Job summary

Leidos in Bethesda, Maryland is seeking a Java Developer to support Agile development of mission-critical systems in a DevOps framework. You will design, implement, test, and maintain high-performance backend microservices using Java and the Spring Framework, with opportunities to work across cloud deployments and SAFe-aligned teams in a top national security context.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, architecture and design contributions, and rigorous unit testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 2+ years.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• Experience with SAFe development practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Backend development of Java microservices using Spring to meet requirements.
• Contribute to software architecture and conduct code reviews.
• Develop tests with JUnit and Katalon and support automated deployment.
• Develop, prototype, and deploy solutions in a cloud-based platform.
• Coordinate with Agile teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
