Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to build and maintain software, systems, and cloud environments in a DevOps framework for critical national security missions. You will participate in the full SDLC, drive architecture and design, coding, and testing while coordinating with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.

The role emphasizes Java, SpringBoot, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) in a fast-paced environment with competitive benefits and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Agile practices and DevOps
• Experience with Java/Spring/C2S and SDLC in DevOps toolchains
• Experience with testing tools (JUnit/Katalon) and scripting (Python, Bash)
• Experience with Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud data services
• Version control and issue-tracking proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required

Responsibilities

• Participates in/directs software development initiatives using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate
• Develops software validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon
• Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for User Story alignment
• Support SAFe Agile lifecycle using GitHub, Jenkins, Unix scripting; track with JIRA/Confluence
• Analyze infrastructure needs driven by software to meet mission needs
• Apply best practices and SOPs to meet customer technical needs
