Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to oversee the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of advanced aerospace software systems. You will drive performance, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding major programs and continuous improvement.

You will mentor engineering teams, review code and documentation, and represent software engineering in strategic decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
• 14+ years of software development experience or higher degree substitution.
• Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI; U.S. citizenship required.

Provide technical leadership for the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of advanced aerospace software systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and regulatory standards. Lead major projects and continuous improvement efforts, guide and mentor engineering teams, review code and documentation, and represent software engineering in strategic decisions.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred, along with 14 or more years of software development experience or an applicable higher degree substitution. Candidates need expert programming skills, extensive software leadership and architecture experience, multidisciplinary collaboration skills, and an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI; U.S. citizenship is required.
